Summary
Admin Assistant
Grade 5, £13.04 per hour
£6902.00 per annum (actual salary)
12 hours per week term time only
Start date: AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
We are seeking an outstanding Admin Assistant who is confident, friendly and flexible for this new role. You must be able to work independently, as you will at times be working on your own in our busy friendly office. The successful candidate will be hardworking, willing and enjoy interacting with our children, visitors and colleagues. The main responsibilities of this role are to provide confidential, effective, efficient and flexible administrative support with minimal supervision. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed individual to grow and develop the role.
You will be working 12 hours per week:
8:30am to 3:30pm Tuesday and 8:30am to 11:30am Wednesday and Thursday, during term time only. It is highly likely that we will want to increase these hours in 2026 by an additional 6 hours per week.
Use of the school’s breakfast club is available free of charge if required.
The successful candidate will:
• Be an effective communicator and have a calm, confidential professional manner and appearance
• Have previous administration experience
• Have excellent IT skills
• Work efficiently and accurately
• Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Welcome visitors and parents and attend to their concerns
• Be reliable and punctual
