Summary
A Vacancy at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
We have an exciting full-time opportunity in our Outpatient MSK Physiotherapy Service based at West Hertfordshire Therapy Unit, Jacketts Field site, in Abbots Langley.
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Physiotherapist interested in a static MSK role.
The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic Outpatient Physiotherapy Team seeing a range of MSK presentations, gaining a wealth of experience, and further developing clinical assessment and treatment skills within this specialist area.
You will be supported by a Band 7/6 tier through a well-established probation, competency, supervision and appraisal process. We also offer in-service training opportunities. There are also good mentorship opportunities and peer support with our existing Band 6/5 staff body.
In addition, whilst very hard working, we are a sociable department committed to the health and wellbeing of our staff.
We have a comprehensive Special Leave Policy, a Well-being Champion on site, Employee Assistance Programme, Spiritual and pastoral support and links to the VIVUP service.
You will be working in a busy, friendly outpatient department seeing GP and Consultant referrals, undertaking assessment and treatment face to face and virtually. Whilst you will be working autonomously, you will be supported by a supervisor and a team with extensive experience and knowledge. Nonetheless, our in-service trainings are lead by each clinician and so it is important to keep up to date with recent evidence and research. You may be involved in leading classes and so therefore we are looking for someone who is a good communicator, motivated and organised.
With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.
We are building on the success of our award-winning virtual hospital and re-imagining models of care, working ever more closely with partners and making the most of advances in digital healthcare.
Staff wellbeing and development are a priority at our Trust, as is the role of innovation in improving clinical care, outcomes and patient experience.
Our vision is Excellent patient care, together and our values are to be empowered, compassionate, professional and inclusive. They capture an important balance across what we must all do as individuals and to support others.
We offer a variety of flexible working options as we recognise the importance of a good work life balance.
