Lead Software Engineer - Active NPPV3, SC, Java, Oracle, AWS
Up to £550 per day (Inside IR35)

My client is an instantly recognisable consultancy who require a Lead Software Engineer with Active NPPV3 and Active Security Clearance (SC), to join a business critical programme with an end client.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Lead Software Engineer
- Active NPPV3 and Active Security Clearance (SC)
- Proven experience in migration of legacy (Java) to modern versions (EE/EJB to Spring)
- Migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL, and from Data Centre to Cloud (AWS)
- Understanding of Java Standard Edition 8, Java Enterprise Edition 5, 6 and 11
- Demonstrable experience with PL/SQL development
- Some skills in GIS (JavaScript/OpenLayers, TileCache and MapServer)
- Experience in platforms / operating systems (Oracle Solis/Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8/Microsoft Windows 2k8,2k16,2k19)
Nice to have:
- Experience in IBM Initiate - Master Data Management, Nginx, Apache Tomcat, ETL
- Some experience with Cognitec FaceVACS, MiniO Operating systems and Virtualisation
- Immediate availability
