Morson Talent are currently recruiting for a Production Worker to work on the behalf of one of our reputable Aerospace clients based in Oxford, Abingdon. This role is a contract until February 2026, with possibility of extension.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations.
Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.
May be required to receive training in area of specialty - heat exchangers threading & fabrication process.
Steady hands will be much valued for any candidates as the fabrication process is manual.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under immediate supervision.
Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
May require related experience and able to show proven capabilities in the field or in a related area.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within heat exchangers manufacturing.
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Special Considerations:
Lifting is generally at or below 30Lbs. without significant repetitions. Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is anticipated. Operation of a Powered industrial truck is considered at least Industrial and may be considered Heavy as determined by other exposures.
Drug Screening and DBS Required
Duration: 6 months with potential to be extended up to 18 months
Location: Oxford, Abingdon OX14 3DB
Working Model: 100% site based
Mon – Fri 9am - 5pm
