Are you a Logistics Assistant looking for your next move?
Do you have experience in transport planning, logistics documentation, and admin support? Are you looking to grow your skills in a hands-on, fast-paced role where you can make a real difference from day one?
This is a brand-new opportunity with a small, friendly, and growing business that’s shifting from third-party logistics partners to managing all transport and logistics operations in-house. It’s a great time to join – and help shape the way things are done.
About the Role
This is more than a desk-based admin job. You’ll be a key part of the logistics and transport process from start to finish, working directly with the Operations team to ensure smooth deliveries and accurate documentation.
Key responsibilities:
• Route planning for deliveries from France to UK customers (mainly southern regions)
• Preparing and maintaining logistics and transport documentation
• General administrative support across the team
• Assisting with logistics-related queries from suppliers and customers
• Talking directly with farmers and end customers – strong communication is key
• Occasionally supporting reception and wider office duties
• Helping streamline internal logistics and transport processes
You’ll be joining a close-knit team of five, so you must be a team player who’s happy to roll up your sleeves and support wherever needed.
What We’re Looking For
• Must have some experience in logistics planning or transport coordination
• A proactive and organised approach to admin and planning tasks
• Good communicator, comfortable speaking with customers in the farming and rural sector
• Positive, friendly, and eager to grow with the company
The Offer
• £30,000 salary
• Full-time, permanent role
• Based in Bottesford (easy commute from Newark, Grantham, Bingham, Melton)
• Monday to Friday working hours
• Immediate start available
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop in a broad, hands-on transport and logistics role within a supportive, family-run company. You’ll be more than just a number – you’ll be part of the journey.
