  • Implementation Leadership: Lead the end-to-end implementation of complex, national systems and services—ensuring not just technical delivery, but also the successful integration of people, processes, and operations into business-as-usual. Champion a holistic approach to implementation that supports long-term sustainability and service readiness.
  • Budget Oversight: Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and value for money.
  • Resource Planning: Identify required skills and capabilities, allocate resources effectively, and support the development of a medium-sized project team.
  • Benefits Realisation: Ensure delivery of the benefits and outcomes outlined in the Business Case, tracking progress and impact.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, to ensure alignment and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues. Develop mitigation strategies and escalate where necessary. Coordinate with related projects to manage interdependencies.
  • Governance & Reporting: Support robust governance and decision-making processes. Provide timely and accurate reporting, and engage with oversight mechanisms to ensure accountability.
  • Assurance & Quality: Participate in assurance reviews and implement recommendations to strengthen project delivery and outcomes.
  • Change Control: Implement effective change management processes to manage and document changes to project scope, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Team Support & Development: Provide coaching, guidance, and support to project team members. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Support to Central Change Function: Contribute to wider change initiatives and support the development of new change processes and frameworks across MaPS.
