Job Overview
-Deliver work on time as per contract performance, Helpdesk, PPM and Remedial work orders
-Ability to work indipendantly and as part of a team
-Follow and comply with Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, at all times including Regultions, Guidance and ACOP's
-Attend Tool box talks, stop work if unsafe or unsure in a polite positive way
-Update maintenance work orders, test malfunctioning equipment, identify defects, repair equipment, and replacing defective parts or equipment
-Collaberate with the team to assist identification and resolution of problems
Main Duties
-Complete installations by assisting the electrical tradesperson, carrying out wiring tasks, alignment adjustments, calibration of equipment following manufacturers/task instructions, drawings and diagrams
-Be qualified in Electrical installations BS 7671 (18th Edition), follow H&S Policy, fill out paperwork, learning installation and maintenance practices
-Use and understand test equipment, using digital equipment and tools, understand limitations
-No Live working, use lockout tag out under the direction of the Appointed Person Electrical, JSP 375, Pt 2 Vol 3
-Ensure that high standard of housekeeping is maintained during and after work

-Ability to understand and follow instructions, confident to speak up as required if in doubt
-Possess the ability to understand drawings and procedures
-Having knowledge of electrical systems, plant and controls
-Treat all with respect on gender, race or religion
-Be a role model of reliability, behaviour and appearance
