Summary
This is a Fixed Term position until November 2027 working full-time.
As the Project Manager for the Data & Digital workstream, you will play a key role within a dynamic and forward-thinking mental health research team that has secured over £40 million in funding. You will work closely with partners at Manchester, King’s College London, and institutions across the UK to deliver data-driven projects that aim to strengthen shared care records and infrastructure linking data across primary care, secondary care, and mental health services. Your work will help accelerate patient recruitment into clinical trials and support the design of scalable, secure digital solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring project objectives are delivered on time and within budget, contributing to nationally recognised programmes such as the Mental Health Mission and DATAMIND TRE among others.
A critical aspect of your role will involve supporting the coordination and operation of the DATAMIND Trusted Research Environment (TRE) — a secure, UK-wide platform that enables researchers to access linked mental health data in a controlled and governed way. You will work alongside technical teams and academic collaborators to manage multi-partner access, ensure compliance with data governance and security standards, and facilitate smooth workflows that accelerate research insights. Your contributions will help unlock the potential of sensitive data while maintaining the highest standards of privacy and trust.
You will collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across all four nations, coordinating multi-partner initiatives that advance research, support service innovation, and ultimately improve population mental health.
Join us and be at the heart of transformative research that drives real-world impact in mental health.
