Job title: X2 Personal Assistants
Location: Bridgend
Hours of work: 5 hours 39 weeks of the year (during term time) and 10 hours 13 weeks per year (during school holidays), with 2:1 support.
Rate of pay: £13.75 per hour
Introduction:
A committed, caring and flexible Personal Assistants are required to support an 11 year old boy out into the community.
He likes to go for short walks, go to the park and enjoy journeys in the car. He also like to go to Jump Jam and the cinema’.
He also like to sit and watch Peppa Pig on his tablet and play Roblox’.
He has a brilliant sense of humour and likes to make others laugh’.
Must have own transport and a full, clean driving licence and be DBS checked.
Main Duties:
• To support an 11 year old boy out into the community.
• Support and encourage him with activities of interest.
• Support and encourage im to try new activities and skills to improve his confidence and abilities.
• Always ensure his safety during your working period.
Persons Specification:
• Active and energetic.
• Good sense of humour
• Caring, honest, responsible and patient.
• Flexibility around hours of work and main duties of the job.
• Reliable with good time keeping.
• Able to use own initiative and be self-motivated.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and be aware of privacy.
• An ability to develop and maintain a supportive relationship.
• Good communication and inter-personal skills.
A full driving license and use of a car is required. You must have business use on your insurance to be able to use the vehicle within work hours.
