This role is advertised by Smart Solutions on behalf of our client, who specialises in the waste sector, who is looking for HGV Class 2 RoRo Drivers the South Kirkby area.

The HGV Class 2 Driver primary role is a to drive a HGV Class 2 vehicle to collect trade waste from commercial customers. This is a single man operation, so manual work is required as part of the role.

Shifts

Monday to Friday working hours, 7am to 5.15pm.

Pay

£15.55 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Waste Transportation: Safely operate HGV vehicles to collect, transport, and deliver waste materials to designated locations.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards.

Route Planning: Plan efficient routes for timely waste collection and delivery.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of collections, deliveries, and any incidents.

Customer Service: Provide excellent service and address any client inquiries professionally.

RoRo driving experience preferred but not essential

Qualifications:

Valid HGV Class 2 driver’s license.

CPC Qualification (Certificate of Professional Competence).

Strong driving and navigation skills.

Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

Commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.
