HGV Class 1 Drivers – Day or Night Shifts Available - Castle Donington, DE74
Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 driver looking for consistent work with great pay? We have just the opportunity for you! Whether you’re an early bird or a night owl, we have shifts to suit your schedule.
What’s in it for you?
Day Shifts: Start between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM – perfect for those who like to get an early start and finish up their day while the sun’s still shining. Your day will involve straightforward general haulage runs using a curtain sider trailer.
Night Shifts: Start between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM – ideal for night drivers who prefer the tranquillity of the road after dark. Your night work will include Amazon trunking runs, port runs, and simple depot-to-depot transfers. No handballing, just smooth sailing!
Regular, Ongoing Work: Forget about the uncertainty of day-to-day job hunting. This role offers consistency, so you know what you’re getting week after week.
Pay Rates:
Day Shifts:
PAYE: £15.00 per hour for the first 8 hours, then £20.00 per hour.
PAYE Umbrella: £19.00 per hour for the first 8 hours, then £24.00 per hour.
Night Shifts:
PAYE: £16.50 per hour for the first 8 hours, then £21.50 per hour.
PAYE Umbrella: £20.50 per hour for the first 8 hours, then £25.50 per hour.
What We’re Looking For:
A valid Class 1 C+E driving licence.
Preferably 12 months recent Class 1 driving experience but we will consider drivers with around 6 months experience too
No more than 6 points for minor convictions on licence.
