Job description:
HGV Class 1 Drivers – Nottingham (NG13)
We’re looking for experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join a respected and well-organised logistics operation based in Nottingham (NG13). Whether you prefer early starts or working the quieter night hours, we’ve got flexible day and night shifts to suit your schedule.
This is an ideal opportunity for drivers seeking ongoing, consistent work, competitive rates, and a team that treats you like a professional — because that’s exactly what you are.
What’s the Job?
You’ll be supporting a well-run pallet distribution network, helping to keep things moving across the region. Here’s how the shifts break down:
Day Shifts:
Start between 07:00 and 08:00
5 to 7 drops per shift
Most pallets are loaded/unloaded by forklift
For the rest, you’ll have electric pump trucks — very little handballing involved
Night Shifts:
Start between 18:00 and 19:00
Two structured trunk runs per night
Load at a local pallet hub, swap trailers back at base, then head out for the second run
Simple, no-fuss work with minimal surprises
The Offer:
Ongoing, reliable work with the potential to become a permanent role
Monday to Friday schedule — weekends off
Immediate starts available
Weekly pay, every week
Pay Rates:
Day Shifts
PAYE: £15.00 per hour
PAYE Umbrella: £19.00 per hour
Night Shifts
PAYE: £16.50 per hour
PAYE Umbrella: £20.00 per hour
What You’ll Need:
A full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
At least 12 months of Class 1 driving experience
Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
No more than 6 points on your licence (no major endorsements, please)
A professional attitude and good understanding of UK driving regs
