Crynodeb
The Sussex Cardiac Centre opened in 1999 and provides a tertiary service for a large area, potentially catering for a population of over 1.5 million, stretching from Chichester and Portsmouth in the West to Hastings in the East and in the North to East Surrey. We recognise that our service needs additional capacity to provide care for the entirety of our referral base. We have advanced plans for development and growth for the service. In the immediate future, level 3 care for our patients will be moved to a brand new, state of the art facility in the new hospital building. Further expansion in service is planned following this move.
