Crynodeb
The Children's Community Nursing Team have a varied caseload of children and young people, some of whom have complex health needs. In order for these children to access education and short break provisions you will participate in delivering education to carers. Children and Young people are often discharged home from the acute setting to continue their care at home for a period of time. You will therefore be expected to administer IV medications and carry out other nursing care to meet the child's needs in the community. Due to the nature of the role you will be required to travel across County Durham and Darlington; you must have your own vehicle in order to travel as part of the role. The successful candidate will be allocated an office base either in Darlington or Chester-le Street. You will be expected to start and finish your working day from your allocated base.
