Duties
Carry out groundwork tasks including excavation, drainage installation, and site preparation.
Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
Assist in the installation of utilities such as water, gas, and electricity.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specification.
Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.
Requirements
Previous experience in groundworks or a related field is preferred but not essential.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Valid driving licence is advantageous for transportation purposes.
A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing project requirements.
