Summary
A warm, busy family based in Ealing W5 is seeking a reliable and proactive part time housekeeper to support the smooth running of their home. This is a daily, live-out position offering between 12 to 15 hours per week, ideally spread across three mornings (Monday to Friday). The role is best suited to a detail-oriented and experienced candidate with a can-do attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire to support a happy family household.
The property is a large, 5-bedroom Victorian semi-detached home arranged over three storeys. It is a lively but relaxed space that is well-maintained and kept clutter-free. The household includes three young children, though the focus of this role is solely on housekeeping (a nanny is already employed to care for the children).
Key Responsibilities
• General housekeeping and deep cleaning of a family home
• Changing beds and towels regularly
• Laundry, ironing, folding, and putting clothes away
• Cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, and communal areas
• Keeping household spaces tidy and organised
• Replacing lightbulbs, batteries, and similar small tasks
• Putting away grocery deliveries and household shopping
• Occasionally preparing packed lunches or helping with simple family cooking (optional)

Requirements
• Previous experience working as a housekeeper in a private household
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, tidy environment
• Positive, friendly attitude and willingness to help
• Good spoken and written English
• Able to read English for labels and product use
• Confident working independently and managing tasks proactively
• Right to work in the UK
• Happy to work in a home where parents work from home part of the week
