Crynodeb
We are looking for an experienced individual who has evidence of capably managing Offshore Boating Operations, ideally within a military setting. Previous experience of working with Adult Volunteers would be highly advantageous. The experience required for this role is:
1. Plan, resource and deliver CCF Offshore Sailing activities worldwide in accordance with current policy and regulations following direction from the PBO.
2. Instruct Offshore Sailing courses for Cadets and CFAVs through the relevant RYA schemes throughout the UK, ensuring that safety and instructional standards remain high.
3. Manage the yacht fleet and inventories tracking procurement, receipts maintenance and disposals, keeping SO2 Boats appraised of any issues.
4. Manage the Offshore Sailing budget, including VFM checks and applications for procurement ensuring activities stay within budget.
5. Monitor the levels of RYA qualifications held by CFAVs, ensuring the CCF RN HQ maintains the organic capability to deliver camps and courses through management of training and recruiting to enable a rolling succession plan.
6. Provide advice to the Commander, PBO and other agencies on the safe conduct and governance of Offshore Sailing within the CCF.
