Streatham: Early Years Nursery Practitioner Needed!
An excellent opportunity for a passionate Early Years Nursery Practitioner to join a thriving nursery in Streatham in a permanent role.
This lovely nursery has great resources, including a private garden area great for outdoor learning and play, with a mud kitchen and sandboxes! The supportive management team truly care about every single member of staff, and as an Early Years Nursery Practitioner you will be working with likeminded colleagues in a positive work environment. Prior experience working with children under 5 within a nursery or childcare setting and a minimum of a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential for this Nursery Practitioner position. A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and a good attitude and passion for working in Early Years is very important.
Working full-time as an Early Years Nursery Practitioner, you will be:
• Planning and leading activities that will stimulate children's imagination and creativity
• Encouraging development through age-appropriate interactive play
• Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development from a young age
• Assisting with early reading and early maths skills development, following the EYFS curriculum closely
• Helping children to develop positive relationships and form/build on their social skills
• Creating a learning environment that is supportive, stimulating and safe and allows every child to develop at their own pace
This is a permanent Early Years Nursery Practitioner position to start ASAP, and is full time to work 40 hours a week. The nursery is closed over Christmas and New Year, as well as 28 days of holiday per year.
