We are looking for an experienced Loading Shovel Operator to work at a fast-paced waste recycling center in Polmont FK” This role involves pushing up material in tipping hall for material handler, maintaining stockpiles/moving materials, loading bulkers and tippers. Maintaining cleaning and greasing fueling as part of daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a loading shovel to move and load waste and recyclable materials
• Follow site health & safety procedures at all times
• Operating Mobile plant safely
• Prestart checks / defect reporting
• Pushing waste in to heaps from the shed receiving walls
• Loading and Tipping
• Follow company procedures
• Maintaining mobile plant IE greasing / cleaning
Essential Requirements:
• Loading shovel certificate NPORS or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a recycling, waste management, or similar heavy plant environment
• Willingness and ability to work 5 days a week including weekends
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working with minimal supervision
Working Environment:
• Outdoor and indoor work, exposed to waste materials, dust, and noise
• Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) provided
• Fast paced and physically active role

• Working hours: Dayshift Mon – Thurs 06:30 – 16:30 Fri 06:30 – 16:00
Nightshift Sun 21:00 – 06:30 Mon – Thus 20:30 – 06:30
Work Location: In person
