We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School Administrator to join our dynamic team at St Austin’s Catholic Primary School part of the Painsley Catholic Multi-Academy. We are a school where smooth administration and effective communication are just as important as supporting children’s happiness and well-being. The ideal candidate will manage daily office operations, support staff and pupils with administrative tasks, and help to ensure create a welcoming and efficient school environment.
A successful School Administrator at our school will:
• Be welcoming and approachable, creating a positive first impression for parents, visitors, and pupils.
• Communicate effectively, both in writing and in person, with staff, families, and external partners.
• Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Be confident using IT systems, including databases, email, and office software (experience with school MIS systems is a plus).
• Handle sensitive information with discretion, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the school.
• Stay calm under pressure, showing resilience, flexibility, and a solution-focused attitude.
