We are seeking an experienced results-driven Sales Person to join our team.
The candidate will possess a demonstrated background in Professional Power Tool and accessory sales, coupled with strong communication skills in both spoken and written English.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a sales role, within power tool industry.
Strong communication skills in English. Must have a good/high standard of spelling and grammar.
Advising customers on the range and appropriateness of profession grade powertools.
Adding & optimising products on the new stock control system.
Work alongside other team members to ensure the website product data is accurate
Supporting the wider team by helping with general IT/technical jobs.
Driving a commercial Category B class vehicle as and when required to support the wider business needs (ideally the ability to also drive a C1 class vehicle as and when required).
Our insurance requirements are a full clean UK driving licence and must be aged over 27, holding a driving licence for at least 3 years).
Working within the warehouse to receive, store and log merchandise as well as picking and packing to ship orders.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A proactive approach to problem-solving.
There will be the two primary software systems you will be expected to use on a daily basis, as well as other 3rd party tools where applicable. Training will be given
Everyone is expected to chip-in where necessary, so the role is not limited to sales counter. The entire team need to be flexible and willing to jump-in and help wherever necessary at any time this includes some cleaning duties on rota basis.
Please note the business will be relocating to Barnsley. This is anticipated to be in the next 24 months, you should therefore be prepared to move employment to the new premises.
