The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Electrical Technician to join our technical team, supporting both teaching and research activities within the School of Engineering.
Based across a range of laboratories and workshops, you will play a vital role in delivering high quality technical support for electrical and electronic engineering. Reporting to the Technical Team Leader and the School Technical Manager, you may also be responsible for supervising other technical staff within your area.
You will work alongside a team of electrical and electronic technicians, supporting the operation, maintenance, and development of laboratory spaces and equipment. This includes systems involving batteries, instrumentation, motors, drives, and both electronic and electrical control systems.
