Human Resources Advisor (FTC for 12 months)
Hybrid - 3 Days On-Site at Heathrow Airport | 2 Days Remote
£43,000 - £53,000 per annum (DOE)

Are you a dynamic and driven HR professional looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced and exciting environment? A Contractor is looking for a Human Resources Advisor to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding & Recruitment:

  • Coordinate and manage the full onboarding process for new starters, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience.

  • Support hiring managers with the end-to-end recruitment process including drafting job descriptions, advertising, shortlisting, and interviewing.

  • Liaise with external recruitment agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure recruitment timelines are met.

General HR Duties:

  • Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to line managers and employees in line with company policies and employment law.

  • Manage employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance issues.

  • Maintain and update HR systems and records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality at all times.

Learning & Development:

  • Identify training needs and assist in developing and implementing training programmes.

  • Coordinate and track employee development plans and mandatory training requirements.

  • Support performance reviews and succession planning processes.

Ad Hoc HR Projects:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR initiatives and improvements.

  • Support HR compliance with policies, procedures, and employment legislation.

  • Provide reports and insights to the HR Manager and leadership as required.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in a similar HR generalist role, ideally within construction.

  • Confident communicator with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to manage competing priorities and work independently within a hybrid setup.

  • Proficient in MS Office system.
