Chapmanslade CofE Primary School is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Assistant to support the Wraparound Care Leader in managing the day-to-day operations of our after-school provision.Working Hours: Part time (12 hours 30 minutes per week, 3.15pm until 5.30pm Monday-Friday, 38 weeks per year, no Teacher Training days). Contract: Fixed Term (until 31st August 2026). Required: September 2025.We are a small and convivial primary school with Christianity at our heart. The successful candidate will ensure a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children who attend. This role involves assisting with the planning and organising of a range of activities suitable for primary-aged children, taking into account their interests and developmental needs.
We are looking for someone who:
Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children;Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;Is self-motivated, energetic and proactive and will support in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality education and care for all of our children;Has experience of working with children in a play / educational setting;Has Food handling experience and/or a Food handling certificate (or willingness to complete one);Is a strong team player;Has a positive and flexible attitude;Can demonstrate a warm and caring approach with children;Is First Aid trained (advantageous).We can offer the successful candidate:
