Summary
Your new company
A property company based in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter, operating from a central office that connects them with clients and contractors across the city.
Your new role
We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Property Administrator to join our team full-time in the office, working five days a week. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming calls and emails, liaising with leaseholders, tenants, and landlords, and coordinating with contractors to arrange repair visits and ensure follow-up actions are completed. You will report and track maintenance issues, maintain accurate records including health and safety documentation and inspection logs, and support the team with budget tracking, invoice processing, and payment reconciliation. Additionally, you will assist with general administrative duties such as preparing reports and spreadsheets, managing post and deliveries, ordering office supplies, filing and archiving documents, supporting meeting preparation, and helping with onboarding processes for new staff or contractors. This plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office and supporting the wider property management team.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience of block management and a strong understanding of property compliance, which is essential for this role. Experience liaising with contractors and managing maintenance workflows, along with a solid understanding of budgeting and invoice processing. They should be able to multitask effectively and prioritise their workload in a busy office environment, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
What you'll get in return
In return, we offer a collaborative and supportive team culture, opportunities for professional development, and a range of benefits including a pension scheme, paid holidays, and wellness initiatives.
