Summary
The appointees will be expected to participate in full within the unit and take an active interest in promoting vascular surgical services within and outside of the Trust. The appointees will be expected to participate in the provision of a full programme of elective and emergency conventional and endovascular surgical services.
This is a 12 month fixed term post with a proposed job plan that comprises 10PAs, including on-call, core and development SPAs, patient administration and the unit meeting, with hub and spoke clinics and dedicated hybrid theatre sessions.
The successful applicants will have a broad base in conventional vascular surgery as well as endovascular techniques. They will work with the existing consultant team to provide level three training in all aspects of Vascular Surgery, and will be expected to support collaborative cross disciplinary working relations and in particular to be involved in endovascular
