Role: Care Assistant
Location: Witham, Chelmsford, Wickford, Basildon.
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours), Part time (20 hours)
Pay Rate: £13.50
Who are we?
We are an established Domiciliary Care Agency registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010. For many people the question about domiciliary care does not arise until there is an urgent need. Finding that we or a loved one suddenly needs a care assistant can catch us by surprise. You may think that we have to make a stark choice between living self-sufficiently, without care, or going into a residential home..

What would we like from you?
· Minimum of 6 months to 1-year experience in a care setting (residential, domiciliary, or healthcare environment)
· Excellent communication skills.
· Genuine desire to help and ability to relate to people
· Awareness of safeguarding policies and maintaining confidentiality of service user information
· Have patience, sensitivity, and sense of humor
· Physically capable of performing care duties, including moving and handling service users.
Job roles and responsibilities as a care worker
·Personal care, feeding and administer medication.
·Assisting with shopping and other daily task.
·Assistance with catheter care and continence aids
·Assistance with nebulizers, inhalers, and oxygen
·Assistance with walking and transferring using hoist
