Summary
Consultant Ward Based Practice with daily ward round and ward based teaching. Monthly Academic Half day on paediatric topics. Audit and Clinical Governance Meetings. Registrar Teaching Programme. Weekly Journal Club. Weekly Paediatric Grand Round. Monthly Peri-natal Meeting. Monthly Paediatric X-ray Meeting. Monthly Procedure & Policy Meeting. Weekly neonatal Case Based Discussion and Ultrasound meeting CAREER COUNSELLING During this post you will be allocated an educational supervisor/clinical supervisor and there is a system of three monthly appraisals. The College Tutor is available to discuss any problems arising during the job, particularly regarding training.
