Are you a compassionate and enthusiastic individual with a passion for supporting young learners in Key Stage 1? Do you have experience in UK school settings and are looking for a rewarding role in North Manchester? We want to hear from you!

We are seeking dedicated and engaging Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant primary school communities across the North Manchester area. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in the early stages of children's education, helping them to build foundational skills and thrive.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3-6 months of experience working as a Teaching Assistant in UK school settings (specifically Nursery and/or Primary, with a focus on KS1 being a strong advantage).

  • Willingness to Train: A willingness to attend and complete Team Teach training (provided as part of your induction, if not already held). This is important for supporting children safely and effectively.

  • Commitment: A dedicated and reliable individual looking for full-time, long-term work. While initial placements may be day-to-day, our aim is to secure you consistent, long-term positions within our partner schools.

  • Working Hours: Ability to commit to full-time hours, typically 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, during term time.

  • Passion for KS1: A genuine desire to support children aged 5-7 (Years 1 & 2), assisting with literacy, numeracy, and overall development.

  • Key Qualities: Patience, empathy, excellent communication skills, adaptability, a proactive approach, and a positive attitude.

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Providing in-class support to pupils in Key Stage 1, individually or in small groups, under the direction of the class teacher.

  • Assisting with the implementation of lesson plans and supporting children with their learning activities across various subjects.

  • Helping to create a positive, engaging, and stimulating learning environment.

  • Supporting classroom management and promoting positive behaviour among young children.

  • Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources and displays.

  • Liaising with the class teacher regarding pupil progress and any observations.

  • Supporting children during independent work, group activities, and play.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a supportive and friendly team dedicated to early years education.

  • Opportunities for professional development, including essential Team Teach training.

  • The chance to build strong relationships with young learners and contribute significantly to their early development.

  • Competitive daily rates of pay.
