We are seeking dedicated and engaging Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant primary school communities across the North Manchester area. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in the early stages of children's education, helping them to build foundational skills and thrive.
What We're Looking For:

Experience: A minimum of 3-6 months of experience working as a Teaching Assistant in UK school settings (specifically Nursery and/or Primary, with a focus on KS1 being a strong advantage).

Willingness to Train: A willingness to attend and complete Team Teach training (provided as part of your induction, if not already held). This is important for supporting children safely and effectively.

Commitment: A dedicated and reliable individual looking for full-time, long-term work. While initial placements may be day-to-day, our aim is to secure you consistent, long-term positions within our partner schools.

Working Hours: Ability to commit to full-time hours, typically 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, during term time.

Passion for KS1: A genuine desire to support children aged 5-7 (Years 1 & 2), assisting with literacy, numeracy, and overall development.

Key Qualities: Patience, empathy, excellent communication skills, adaptability, a proactive approach, and a positive attitude.
Your Role Will Involve:

Providing in-class support to pupils in Key Stage 1, individually or in small groups, under the direction of the class teacher.

Assisting with the implementation of lesson plans and supporting children with their learning activities across various subjects.

Helping to create a positive, engaging, and stimulating learning environment.

Supporting classroom management and promoting positive behaviour among young children.

Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources and displays.

Liaising with the class teacher regarding pupil progress and any observations.

Supporting children during independent work, group activities, and play.
