About the Role

In this role, you will:

Provide end-to-end support for high-risk clients living in safe accommodation in Barnsley.
Work closely with Barnsley Council’s Housing and Welfare Team and Safe Accommodation Providers to coordinate allocations and develop joint support plans.
Complete risk assessments and safety planning, ensuring appropriate action is taken to reduce harm.
Support clients through legal processes, including family court, and liaise with police and legal services.
Attend MARAC, case conferences, and safe accommodation panel meetings.
Make referrals to IDAS and external services, including refuge, counselling, and specialist support.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to the IDAS helpline on a rota basis.
