Summary
Maternity Cover - September/October 2025 start
Prior Park College looks to appoint a a talented and inspiring full-time Teacher of Psychology to join our thriving Human Sciences Department. This is a maternity cover position, commencing in September 2025 or at the October half-term.
The successful candidate will teach A-Level Psychology to motivated and engaged sixth form students. Psychology is one of the most popular A-Level subjects at Prior Park. You will join a collaborative team within the wider Human Sciences department, benefitting from small class sizes, a strong pastoral system, and a highly resourced teaching environment.
The post-holder can expect to:
Teach exceptional and inspirational lessons in their subject discipline up to A-Level, working with other teachers, tutors and parents as needed to ensure their students make excellent progress.
Be an integral, contributing member of their Department and Faculty.
Participate actively in the Professional Growth system for teachers at Prior Park.
Participate, as appropriate, in trips, expeditions, shows and other extra-curricular activities arranged by the department.
