Are you looking for an exciting Consultant role using your unique qualities, then we want to hear from you? uccessful candidates will join a dynamic and collaborative team, delivering high-quality care across the Trust. Applicants should be experienced in major colorectal resections for both malignant and benign conditions. There may be opportunity to support applicants with benign subspeciality interests including Inflammatory bowel disease, pelvic floor disorders and complex abdominal wall. Expertise in management of elective paediatric general surgery would also be desirable but is not essential. As well as being proficient in the subspecialist management of colorectal disease, successful candidates will be expected to manage general surgical conditions such as benign coloproctological disorders, abdominal wall and groin hernias. The postholders are required to contribute to the management of General Surgical emergencies in adults and non-specialised emergency general surgery conditions in children, at 1 in 10 frequency.
