My husband is a very intelligent and quick whited man that has Parkinson's, Lewy body dementia and type 2 diabetes.
We are looking for a trustworthy, friendly, flexible PA that we can rely on to help with my husbands care.
I am looking for someone to help with my husbands personal care needs, general housework and some food preparation
A full DBS will need to be completed due to the nature of the care required and children within the home
Duties include:
- Medication prompting/administering
- Personal grooming
- Moving and handling
- Other relevant duties as required
- Housekeeping
- Transportation
- Dressing / undressing
- Bathroom assistance
- Preparing drinks, snacks and cutting up food
Candidate qualities:
- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Honest and cheerful
- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
