There are two positions available
About the role:
Housing Quality Officers are part of a Team of Officers who are responsible for the day to-day delivery of the Maintenance and Capital Improvements programme to a number of void and tenanted Social Housing properties within their designated area. The post holder should have an extensive knowledge of Construction types and styles, with the ability Project Manage multiple Construction Contracts.
About you:
• Practical knowledge and experience in Construction
• Significant experience in identifying Building defects.
• Experience of quality assuring works in Residential properties.
• Knowledge and understanding of Contract Management.
• Have the ability to work positively within a Team, as well as using your own
initiative
• Possess sound knowledge of Financial Management
What you will do:
• Specify, deliver and quality Manage different elements within the Maintenance programme.
• Pre inspect Specify and oversee works to ensure void properties are ready to let as quickly as possible
• Contribute to the delivery of the Welsh Housing Quality Standard.
• Have the ability to manage Health and Safety in Construction.
• Assist in the delivery of the Authority’s Social Housing Asset Management
service.
• Provide Technical Support and advice to other Officers within the service
This position does require a Standard DBS check
