We are actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant mainstream primary school in Oldham, specifically within a KS2 classroom. In this role, you will provide invaluable support and guidance to students while also assisting with general classroom responsibilities.
This full-time position (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM) is available for an immediate start, offering a rewarding opportunity to contribute to students' growth and your own professional development. While qualifications are preferred, they are not mandatory; we value experience and enthusiasm for working with children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring students remain focused and engaged in learning.
- Maintaining classroom discipline and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Providing personalized support on a 1-to-1 basis or in group settings as needed.
- Collaborating with the class teacher to design engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Communicating effectively with teachers and parents to deliver optimal support.
