We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Team Manager for our Children, Young People, and Families (CYPF) Services. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of high-quality services tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by children and families in our community. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including local agencies, health services, and educational institutions, to ensure a cohesive approach to service delivery. Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of professionals providing support to children, young people, and families.
Develop and implement service strategies that align with organizational goals and priorities.
Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Coordinate with external agencies and partners to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
Develop training and development plans for team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
Conduct regular supervision and performance assessments to support team growth and accountability.
Promote a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and respect within the team and with service users.
Requirements
Qualified social worker or equivalent qualification in a related field.
Significant experience in managing teams in a social care or health-related environment.
Strong understanding of legislation and policies affecting children and young people.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases and make informed decisions.
Commitment to the continuous improvement of services and practices.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Hour: £38.54
Location: Plymouth, South West England
