Must be of the Swaminarayan faith. The suitable candidate should be a male.
The duties require the candidate be literate in the Gujarati language and have
experience in performing the following duties in a Swaminarayan Temple:-
Performing morning awakening of deities, performing of aarti, preparation and
offering of food to deities, reading and narrating of religious scriptures of the
Swaminarayan faith. The employer has claimed an exception under the Equality
Act 2010 and the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 s7(2)(e).
The duties require the candidate be literate in the Gujarati language and have
