Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and strategic IT Manager to oversee the technology infrastructure and systems across our organization. The successful candidate will ensure robust, secure, and efficient IT operations, providing leadership in digital initiatives and technical support that drive business continuity and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and support the internal IT team across hardware, software, and network services
- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and applications
- Ensure data security, system integrity, and compliance with GDPR and industry standards
- Manage vendor relationships, software licenses, contracts, and procurement activities
- Provide technical support to staff and resolve system issues efficiently
- Develop and implement strategic IT plans and upgrades to meet business needs
- Monitor IT budgets, optimise resources, and report on expenditures
- Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity protocols
- Collaborate with department heads to identify technology improvements
- Supervise cybersecurity measures, threat detection, and system monitoring
- Document infrastructure and systems; manage access and permissions securely
Candidate Profile
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in IT management or senior-level technical roles
- Strong knowledge of networking, cloud services, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional IT projects and manage priorities effectively
- Familiarity with compliance and governance frameworks including GDPR
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Relevant qualifications or certifications (e.g. CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, ITIL)
