Job Title: Business Support Admin Assistant

Ref: Bristol 5273218

Pay rate: £13.05 per hour PAYE



A Basic DBS is required for this role.

There is a possibility that the role will be extended beyond the initial one month.



The role:

We are seeking a motivated and highly organised individual to join the team as a Business Support Admin Assistant.

This is a varied and fast-paced role supporting the delivery of an efficient business support service.



Key Responsibilities:

Process new Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) requests, including annual reviews and contributions
Manage a shared email inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses to enquiries
Provide administrative and support in tribunal & mediation cases ensuring deadlines are met and sensitive information is handled appropriately
Support the Adult Care team by processing referrals related to Safeguarding and Vulnerable Adults
Maintain and update internal databases, including recording demographic changes, deaths and performing regular data cleansing



What the client is looking for:

Relevant Level 2 qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2, BTEC, GCSEs) or equivalent knowledge and understanding through relevant experience
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Understanding of systems, procedures and regulations
Strong time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks and manage workload independently
Ability to understand and to follow instructions and guidelines and to solve problems in work area
Accuracy and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, including engaging with citizens and offering appropriate advice
Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems when required
