What you will do:

Based at Arran War Memorial Hospital, Isle of Arran and working across all potential care settings, with a focus on Community Nursing and supporting the local GP practice, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to undertake phlebotomy, providing a high standard of patient care in the community, often without direct supervision from senior staff, in support of trained nurses.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

We welcome applicants who can provide evidence of work experience in a variety of acute clinical or community care settings. A flexible and enthusiastic approach to a busy and dynamic workload will be beneficial to those interested.

The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, as well as having excellent communication skills are essential for this role. A driving licence is essential due to the role involving community work.

Hours: 26.64 per week, pro rata
