Working Hours: 07:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday

Job Overview

We’re seeking dependable and industrious Labourers to join a busy site in Stockport ( SK6 ) , You’ll play a key role in supporting our trades and ensuring the site runs smoothly and safely.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Site Preparation & Clean‑Up: Sweep, clear debris, and maintain tidy working areas

  
  

• Material Handling: Load, unload, move, and stack materials and equipment safely

  
  

• Trade Support: Assist plasterers, carpenters, electricians, and other trades with on‑site tasks

  
  

• Temporary Works: Erect and dismantle hoardings, fencing, barriers, and waste chutes

  
  

• Basic Demolition: Carry out minor strip‑out or demolition duties under supervision

  
  

• Tool & Equipment Use: Operate hand tools, wheelbarrows, and basic plant (e.g., drills, compact breakers)

  
  

• Health & Safety Compliance: Wear PPE at all times, adhere to site safety rules, and report hazards or incidents immediately

  
  Requirements

  • Previous general labouring or construction experience preferred

    
    

  • CSCS card (or equivalent) desirable but not essential

    
    

  • Physically fit and able to perform manual handling throughout the day

    
    

  • Own PPE (safety boots, hard hat, hi‑vis vest, gloves)

    
    

  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team‑oriented attitude

    
    

  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive, proactive approach

    
    What We Offer
