Crynodeb
Rougemont School is seeking a reliable, professional and safety-conscious Minibus Driver to join our Transport team. This is a key role, responsible for providing safe and dependable transport for our pupils on daily school runs and school trips.
About the Role
As our Minibus Driver, you will ensure pupils are transported safely, punctually and courteously to and from the School between 6.30 – 9.00am and 3.30 - 6.00pm. You'll be responsible for maintaining good order on the minibus, carrying out basic vehicle checks, and supporting school traffic management when required.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive a School minibus along designated routes, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils at all times.
• Record attendance and maintain order on board, ensuring all passengers wear seatbelts.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and cleanliness checks, reporting any issues.
• Communicate professionally with pupils, parents, and staff.
• Support traffic management duties within the school grounds and assist with other site-related tasks if needed.
Person Specification
• D1 entitlement on your driving licence, or a PCV/PSV licence with CPC qualification.
• Excellent driving record and knowledge of road safety.
• A calm, friendly and professional manner with good communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and well-organised.
• Flexible and willing to work additional hours if required.
• An enhanced DBS check will be required prior to appointment.Why join us?
