Hours: 32.5 Hours (Term Time Only)
Salary: Grade 6 (£27,269 x 77.15%) + SEN Allowance (£1,491 x 75.15%)
Start date: As soon as possible
Rhondda Cynon Taf Access and Inclusion Service is seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced Learning Support Assistant for the Learning Support Class for pupils with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties based at Ysgol Nant Gwyn for January 2025. This is a class for up to twelve pupils aged from 11 – 16 years with a range of additional learning needs. The class is staffed by a teacher and two Learning Support Assistants.
Ideally, the successful applicant will have experience of working with pupils with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties and will have undertaken specialist professional development relevant to SEBD.
The closing date for applications is Friday 01st August 2025 at Midnight.
PROTECTING CHILDREN AND ADULTS AT RISK IS A CORE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SCHOOL AND COUNCIL. IN ADDITION TO THIS SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITY, THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT FOR THE ROLE WILL ALSO BE SUBJECT TO AN ENHANCED DISCLOSURE AND BARRING SERVICE CHECK.
