Are you a passionate and committed Reception Teacher looking to join a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school?
This primary school is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Reception Teacher to join their dedicated Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners at a school that values creativity, collaboration, and high standards.
As a Reception Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
- Set and review weekly learning targets to support individual progress
- Write detailed reports and maintain accurate assessment records
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, including hosting parent evenings
- Work closely with the Teaching Assistant to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its values and ethos
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in the Early Years, ideally within a Reception class
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, nurturing, and team-oriented approach
