As a Nursing Associate, youll be a key part of our multidisciplinary teambridging the gap between Healthcare Assistants and Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Your role at a glance: Delivering holistic nursing care under the supervision of registered professionals Carrying out clinical tasks including wound care, immunisations and long-term condition reviews. Administering flu vaccinations, pneumococcal and child immunisations Perform and record clinical observations such as blood pressure, temperature, respirations, and pulse To provide routine care to patients as required in accordance with clinical based evidence, NICE and the NSF Promote health and well-being to all patients, for example undertaking the NHS health check To provide wound care, dressings and other clinical tasks as required Carrying our cervical screenings and seasonal vaccinations Supporting health promotion and education initiatives Contributing to the assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care Is a registered Nursing Associate with the NMC Has experience working in a primary care, community or similar setting Brings strong clinical judgement and a proactive, person-centred approach Communicates clearly and works collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Is organised, adaptable and committed to professional development Shares our values of kindness, excellence, and accountability Maintaining accurate and timely documentation Supporting safe and effective care across our practices and services
