Crynodeb

USW are proud to support and promote the Welsh language as part of our courses in Policing and Criminology. Applications are invited from fluent Welsh speakers who can contribute to the delivery and support of students studying Policing and Criminology modules through the medium of Welsh at our Treforest Campus. This is an ideal opportunity for inspiring and motivated individuals with relevant experience and knowledge of contemporary issues within policing, crime, security and justice. This position is based at Pontypridd but will require the successful candidate to operate online as well as on campus, with the flexibility to work remotely at times when needed and to travel to take part in student events and promotional activities in schools and colleges. The successful candidate must be a fluent Welsh speaker and be able to write to a very good standard in Welsh to support our students.

The position will see the successful candidate joining an established team that is always keen to innovate and develop challenge-based learning opportunities for students. The successful candidate should be highly motivated to contribute to an excellent student experience including high quality pastoral care to support students’ health and wellbeing during their studies with us through the medium of Welsh.

This post is for a fixed term of 12 months and is fractional (0.4) equating to 2 days a week on average.
