Summary
Job Title: Temporary Receptionist (One Week assignment)
Location: North Cambridge
Duration: 1 week (1st -5th September 25)
Training: 1 Day (29th August 25)
About the Role ARC Commercial are seeking a friendly and organised Temporary Receptionist to join my Clients team for the first week of September. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of their busy office, working closely with engineers, subcontractors, and clients. A one-day paid training session will be held on 29th July to ensure you are fully prepared for the role.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet visitors, clients, and contractors in a professional and welcoming manner
• Answer and direct phone calls and emails promptly
• Assist engineers and subcontractors with day-to-day administrative needs
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
• Maintain a tidy and organised reception area
• Schedule and coordinate meetings as needed
• Provide general administrative support to the office team
Requirements
• Available for full-time work during the first week of September
• Able to attend a training session on 29th July
• Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Professional and positive attitude
