Summary
Assembly Fitter – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Cheltenham | Monday –Thursday 06:00 - 14:00 and Friday 06:00 - 12:00 (Shift Allowance from 06:00 - 07:00)
Meridian are looking for an Assembly Fitter to start work for one of our prestigious clients based in Cheltenham to carry out assembly/testing/painting/packing of products. This is an initial 12-month contract with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly, testing and painting of standard product range;
- Build and test of product in line with instruction sheets to required quality standard;
- )perate and set machines in line with instructions;
- Shot/bead blast cleaning and basic paint spraying;
- Ensure company H&S policy is adhered to raise safety concerns to supervision;
- Ensure production quality is maintained at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
- Ability to read technical drawings and to follow work instructions;
- Experience of working within a production envrionment;
- Competent in safe use of PPE and work equipment;
- Experience with welding would be advantageous;
- Keen eye for detail and a conscientious attitude;
- Proactive and flexible approach.
Location: Easily commutable from Gloucester, Tewkesbury, and surrounding areas.
