An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technician: Chemistry to join the College of Science & Engineering on a permanent basis.
In this role, the successful candidate will provide in-depth technical expertise in the College of Science and Engineering supporting research, undergraduate and post graduate teaching. The role provides advice on the creation, set up and best operation of technical resources to aid the delivery of research and teaching objectives and will play a critical role in delivering support in analytical chemistry and in the safe handling, use, and disposal of hazardous substances. The postholder will apply a range of laboratory, scientific, and chemical skills to support a range of technical services in line with the College Strategy.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and is offered on an open ended basis.
