Field Service engineer - This position would suit a motivated Field Services Engineer to work as part of a two-man team with an experienced lead Field Services Engineer based in the South near High Wycombe. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the construction industry including but not limited to product installation, maintenance and aftersales. This role requires good problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement. The position will be responsible for assisting the lead Field Services Engineer to ensure that site services are delivered efficiently on time and to the required quality. Achieving an exceptional customer journey is paramount.
Responsibilities
- Working with a senior / experienced Field Services Engineer, duties will include Product installation, Maintenance, Aftersales, Installation Assistance and Health & Safety.
- Assisting in erecting scaffolding and access equipment.
- Use of small and handheld power tools as required.
- Assisting with the assembly of components on site and passing tools and equipment as necessary to the lead field service engineer.
- Ability to work unsupervised, following training, in the course of duties.
- Keeping the work are tidy and safe at all times.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards at all times.
Education & Experience
- Suitable experience working in roles in the construction industry.
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Good communication skills and able to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Understanding of the implementation of safety regulations. SSSTS/SMSTS certified is preferable but must be a CSCS Blue skilled worker holder as a minimum.
